I have plans to do more home, auto and business insurance this year 2026. Safeco is now becoming part of Liberty Mutual. Progressive has now become very competitive in the home market along with their auto, mobile home and boat. Travelers, Badger, Secura and others will get comparative quotes. I represent a new company that has very comprehensive coverages for short term rentals. VRBO and AirB&B is now covered top to bottom with fewer holes.
Secura and others insure small business' including fishing guides, electricians, plumbers, builders, landscapers and more.

2026 has been an interesting year for sure. Healthcare insurance has its challenges. You can get catastrophic coverage if you're ready for the premium. Also there are certain coverage plans that cover you for one or more health issues. Only when you are Medicare eligible do you get a more affordable comprehensive plan. I don't have all the plans but I have many of the plans for Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado and Florida. I would be happy to be of help in your search. Remember, a change in zip code or life event can make you eligible for a special enrollment period.

Sad day for me. Let's say sadder...
My beautuful Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid has been totalled. I've got to find a new ride. Last Thursday I was picking up stuff at Hayward Walmart. As I checked out I heard a bunch of sirens in the parking lot. As I went out I saw about 6 cop cars and police everywhere in my parking section. An older man(60?) in a Chevy slammed into the back end of my car smashing it into the car in front of me and moving us both 6 feet. Safeco, my insurance is covering it all. Rental car etc. The guy totalled another car and damaged 4 all together. He told the police he thought he hit the brake but he stomped on the accelerator. Geeezzz!
I LOVED this car. The money I saved driving it 140,000 miles was incredible. Year after year the battery would recharge for about $15 per month electricity. Basically I get double the mileage saving beaucoup gas costs. Not to mention year after year after year of not screwing up our beautiful Wisconsin skies. It just takes brains to get used to the electric part. Some people have a problem watching the gauges that tell you when and where to charge.
So now I'm looking for a hybrid that will tow. Maybe a V6 with the electric kick in. My daughter has a Toyota Rav4. She gets great mileage with it. Maybe a minivan. Just enough power to put my pontoon in the water. And it has to be affordable. Used hybrids are decent price. I have 7 days of rental car to find my new car...I use Car Guru.

Many are aware that I help people find affordable healthcare. Young people can get coverage inexpensively that does great for catastrophic unforeseen treatment. There is a maximum out of pocket limit that keeps you from going bankrupt forever.
Older folks begin Medicare at age 65 or earlier with a health disability like diabetes or others. I have several plans (not all) that I can present to you if you call me first. Medicare Advantage may include prescription drugs and are regulated to have all the coverages of Original Medicare. Many Advantage plans add more coverages like workout fees paid and help covering dental, hearing aids, vision, etc.

My sister Sue and I rent our Ft Myers FL duplex throughout the year. 85 and sunny! Winter and Fall dates are still available. It's in a standard Florida neighborhood 4 miles from the beach and 7 miles from Sanibel. One side(The A side) has a private pool.
