Located in the heart of Tenafly, 27 Central Avenue offers convenient access to downtown businesses. Upon completion, the property will consist of ten (10) rental apartments and one commercial/office space. Two (2) of the apartments are designated as COAH (Council on Affordable Housing) units and will help Tenafly address its affordable housing obligation. This continues Ascendia Bank’s commitment to helping local builders support their communities, including projects that include an affordable housing component. The principal of the project, Ilan Cohen, is a long-time Ascendia Bank customer.

On Thursday, April 23rd, Ascendia Bank opened the doors to some wide-eyed children and grandchildren of its employees. Take Your Kids to Work Day gives kids a unique opportunity to explore the workplace and see how their family is helping meet the needs of the local community. In between cupcakes, pizza, and games, they asked thoughtful questions, engaged with employees, and learned about the banking industry. All in all it was a successful day and one lucky kid even had a visit from the Tooth Fairy that same night!

This year at the Salvation Army Montclair Citadel, they handed out winter clothing and served meals to over 100 members of the community.
