💲 Starting Salary: $45,000–$65,000 (based on experience) + generous benefit package

The IT Technician serves as the primary point of contact for all technology-related issues. This individual is responsible for providing initial diagnostic support, performing basic hardware and software troubleshooting, and coordinating ticket escalation to senior staff when necessary. The ideal candidate will have previous IT experience, and a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities
• Technical Support
• Incident Management
• User Provisioning
• Software Maintenance
• Documentation
• Escalation

Technical Skills & Qualifications
• Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals preferred.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and basic familiarity with MacOS or Linux.
• Networking: Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity.
• Hardware: Ability to swap hardware components (RAM, hard drives) and troubleshoot local and networked printers.

Core Competencies
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and professionally.
• Reliability: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Discretion: Must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company data and user information.
• Compliance and Security Awareness: familiarity with SOC2 or basic data encryption standards.
