Every year around the holiday season, my wife and I host a neighborhood cookie exchange where friends and family come together to enjoy some cookies and spread some cheer. We cherish our cookie exchange year after year, as it reminds us of everything we are blessed with- the health and happiness of ourselves, our friends, and our loved ones.

At the same time, we also recognize that we all know hardship in some form or another. Although everyone faces different challenges in different ways, no one should have to question what their next meal will be and when it will come. In light of this, we dedicate ourselves to helping eliminate food insecurity in our community by hosting a food drive and bringing the food to the Island Harvest facility in Melville, NY- helping to ensure that the holiday season is a little less stressful for those in need. I welcome anyone who wants to get involved with our initiative in supporting this amazing cause, and invite you to reach out regarding how you can contribute to future Island Harvest food drives.

As a father, watching my children grow into adults is something I've enjoyed witnessing. I am so proud to of my daughter Ally for working as hard as she has and starting her new job as a licensed mental health counselor and as a licensed art therapist. I know you will do great things in your new role Ally and I couldn't be prouder!

Recently, I had the wonderful experience of volunteering with my Morgan Stanley colleagues to help sort food donations and help end hunger for families in need all across Long Island. Together, my colleagues and I assembled 736 boxes- which are dedicated to assisting the senior community of Long Island during the holiday season. In total, each box contained about 34 lbs. of food, amounting to 25,024 lbs. overall. It was great team-building and community-building with my fellow Morgan Stanley employees, and I’m looking forward to my next time volunteering at Island Harvest!
