🎉 Exciting Milestone: 4 Years at Mitlin Financial, Inc.🎊

This month marks a significant milestone in my journey—a celebration of four years working at Mitlin. 🥳✨ It's a moment of reflection, growth, and gratitude.

Over the past four years, I've had the privilege of being part of an incredible team that is dedicated to helping families achieve their financial goals. From crafting personalized investment strategies to navigating complex financial landscapes, every day has been a rewarding experience.

Mitlin has not just been a workplace for me; it's become a second home. The collaborative atmosphere, wealth of knowledge, and commitment to the families we serves success have shaped my professional identity. Each challenge has been an opportunity to learn, and every success has been a testament to our collective efforts.

One of the most fulfilling aspects has been witnessing the positive impact on the families we serve lives. Helping them secure their financial futures, plan for major life events, and navigate economic changes has been both humbling and immensely satisfying.

As I reflect on these four years, I'm reminded of the supportive colleagues, engaging projects, and the continuous learning environment that has propelled my career forward. It's not just about the work; it's about the relationships built, the lessons learned, and the growth experienced.

To my fantastic colleagues and mentors, especially Lawrence D Sprung, thank you for your guidance, collaboration, and camaraderie. It's the people that make this journey memorable, and I'm grateful to be surrounded by such talented and dedicated individuals.

Looking ahead, I'm excited about the future possibilities and challenges that will undoubtedly come our way. Together, let's continue to innovate, inspire, and make a positive impact in the world of financial planning.

Here's to four incredible years at Mitlin, and to many more milestones, achievements, and shared successes ahead! 🚀📈

Happy thanksgiving to everyone. I hope everyone is surrounded by love and those they hold dear.

As we come in to this time of gratefulness, remember what is truly important. Take the time to think about all the goals you set at the beginning of 2023, and don’t get complacent. Run hard through the finish line. Jobs not finished yet.

For as long as I can remember my dream was to be a professional athlete. It was what I truly thought I was going to do with my life. So much so that when people would ask me what I wanted to be, I’d tell them I wanted to have a hall-of-fame career and then go into business like Magic Johnson. However, as life would have it, Destiny had other plans for me

As a young kid, I was fixated with sports. I loved playing basketball, football, and baseball. However, due to the cost restraints, my parents did not have the means to put me into organized sports. This did not stop my love or drive whatsoever. I really did not get to play organized sports until I was able to play on school teams since they were free. By this time, I was strong and athletic but I had one issue, I was what coaches called undersized. I would get looked over despite my abilities, which put a chip on my shoulder. I made a vow to myself that no one would ever outwork me and I still follow it today. I possessed an unwavering passion for sports. The thrill of competition, the camaraderie, and the desire to excel were the driving forces of my life. I dedicated countless hours to training, pushing my limits, and pursuing my dream of becoming a professional athlete.

When I got to college at West Virginia University, I had the chance to prove my worth again. I became a walk-on for a D1 football program. However, as time went on harsh realities of the highly competitive sports industry began to set in, and my dream seemed to fade away. Though initially disheartened by the realization that my athletic dreams may not come true, I truly believed that adversity often leads to new opportunities. I sought solace in knowing that my passion for sports could still play a role in my life, just in a different capacity. With this mindset, while in school I discovered financial planning and I fell in love with the ability to help people create the lives of their dreams.

As I delved deeper into the financial planning field, I recognized the immense potential to serve a group of individuals who shared a similar background: former college athletes. These individuals possessed unique needs and circumstances that required specialized attention. Many athletes, having dedicated their lives to their sport, often lacked the necessary financial literacy and guidance to navigate their post-athletic lives successfully.

Becoming a financial planner for former college athletes allowed me to bridge the gap between their athletic careers and their financial futures. I understood the unique challenges they faced, adjusting to life after sports, managing newfound wealth or financial setbacks, and planning for the long term. My mission became clear: To help former college athletes turn their winning mindset into financial freedom.

While not achieving my dream of becoming a professional athlete was initially a disappointment, it ultimately paved the way for a fulfilling career in financial planning. My journey from aspiring athlete to serving as a financial planner for former college athletes has given me a sense of purpose, allowing me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. It serves as a reminder that our destinies often unfold in unexpected ways, offering us the opportunity to embrace new paths and find fulfillment in serving others along the way.

We would be happy to schedule a time to discuss how we can help you and your family turn your winning mindset into financial freedom. Feel free to schedule a 30 Minute Zoom Meeting for us to discuss this.

One of the reasons I love being a part of team Mitlin Financial, Inc.!

We worked hard as a team to make sure that we could provide a holiday gift for the families we serve. We wanted to give something that could bring families together, as well as give them something sweet to eat.

To my surprise, I received a box of my own! It was completely unexpected and Red Velvet NYC did an amazing job. The box is beautiful and comes with everything my family needs to make lasting memories, I definitely am not the baker of the household hold but I’ll do my part 😂

If you want to learn more about Red Velvet NYC take a listen to our podcast below where she explains why the only thing not in the box is eggs

Now, I am not much of a coffee drinker (until recently), so I can typically be seen with an energy drink in my hand. And yes I know it’s not the healthiest thing but I digress.

So, when I walked into my office today and saw this can of C4 Energy waiting for me I was so surprised!

I have a lot of friends and family who proudly served in the armed forces. With Veterans Day approaching, it truly warms my heart to see them celebrated. Especially, if we look back to how they were treated over the years.

If you see a Veteran, stop and give them a thank you. It may mean more to them then you might think.

Yesterday was an amazing day. I got to spend time with one of the families Mitlin Financial, Inc. serves as they took me to my first New York Jets game.

I couldn’t have asked for anything better out of the game. Even with a little bit of rain, we made the most of it. Also helps when your team comes out with the win!

I can’t wait to do it again! Thank you again John Costanzo for bringing me along.

Today has really been wonderful, I want to thank everyone Mitlin Financial, Inc. for making my birthday special.

I normally don’t look at my birthday as a cause for celebration but instead I look at it as a time for reflection. I reflect on where I’ve been and where I’m looking to go. I’ve made mistakes in my 20s but every decision has lead me to where I am today and I’m proud but still got a long way to go.

I really appreciate all of The birthday messages, it means a lot. I’m looking forward to what my 30s will bring me and feel it’s gonna be the best decade of my life thus far! I am happy to be getting older because not everyone gets to do it!
