Blystone is now Ashmead

As of 2022 The Blystone Company has merged with Ashmead Insurance of Colmar, Pennsylvania. This merger was done to bring our clients the best possible products and services, all while maintaining the relationships we have been fortunate to develop over the years.

All clients and policies will be seamlessly transitioned over to Ashmead with no action required by you.

All of the existing Blystone staff is still on board, including myself, to continue bringing you the excellent service you deserve, and we look forward to introducing you to our new service team members at Ashmead as well. Please do not hesitate contact us with any questions about this merger.

Tyson Chicken Recall

Tyson Foods issued a voluntary recall on July 3rd for approximately 8.5 million pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products including their delicious pre-cooked strips. The recall was due to potential listeria contamination and affects products produced from 12/25/20 through 4/13/21.

What to do:

• Individuals should throw these products away or return them to the place of purchase.

• Business owners should immediately remove these products from their inventory and contact their suppliers.

• Consumers with questions should contact Tyson consumer services at (855) 382-3101 or the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at (888) 674-6854 for more information.
