Prior to being appointed General Agent, Tony was a successful agent in the Kevin Pfeifer agency from 2000-2009, twice earning Agent of the Year honors and four times earning Agent of the Year Runner-Up honors. In addition, he earned membership in the Supreme Knight's Club each year he was a Field Agent and was a member of MDRT for his final six years as a Field Agent. The Swanson Agency has 9 Fiel
d Agents. Of approximately 135 agencies in the Order, the Agency finished as the #4 agency in 2011, #2 in 2012 and 2013, and #6 in 2014. In addition, the Swanson Agency has consistently ranked among the Order's leaders in Long Term Care Insurance sales. Tony serves on the advisory board for Spirit Catholic Radio, is past vice president of the Hastings Pregnancy Resource Center board, and is involved in several groups at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Hastings. He has been married to Cathy (Breen) Swanson since 1996 and together they have five children: Lainey, Isaiah, McGivney, Malachi, and Elijah.
