URGENT SCAM ALERT: Spoofed Calls
We have received reports that fraudsters are spoofing our bank's phone numbers to make calls appear legitimately from MYCU. The caller may sound professional, know your name and maybe even some of your account information and ask for immediate action on a "fraudulent transaction."
REMEMBER: MY CREDIT UNION will NEVER call you to ask for:
1. Online banking passwords or usernames.
2. One-time passcodes or SMS verification codes.
3. Debit card PINs or CVV numbers.
4. You to move money to a new, "secured" account.
If you receive a suspicious call, HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. Call us back on the known, trusted number located at mycutx.com or on the back of your debit card.
