🚨 SCAM ALERT! 🚨
If you received a text message with this “Final Enforcement Notice” from the “State of North Dakota District Court” (or similar versions for other states), delete it immediately — it’s a SCAM!
This fake document uses official-looking formatting, a QR code, and urgent threats about court dates, license suspension, and collections to scare people into scanning the code and paying.
Real facts:
• North Dakota courts and law enforcement do NOT send these types of notices by text with QR codes or demand immediate payment this way. 
• Official communications come by U.S. mail only.
What to do:
• Do NOT scan the QR code or click any links
• Do NOT enter any payment info
• Block and report the text as spam
• If you’re worried about actual tickets, check directly with the Burleigh County District Court (use their official phone number from ndcourts.gov — never info from the text)
