Half (48%) of American women in what’s known as the “sandwich generation,” or people caring for both children and parents or relatives, report feeling under financial strain, according to research from Edward Jones, in partnership with NEXT360 and Morning Consult. So, what might this mean for their personal and financial wellbeing?
Lena Haas, Head of Wealth Management Advice and Solutions at Edward Jones, touched on this topic and more during a Women, Wealth and Wellness luncheon at SXSW presented by Edward Jones at the SHE Media Co-lab at SXSW and moderated by Katie Fogarty, host of A Certain Age Podcast.
Lena discussed the importance of having a comprehensive financial strategy that considers:
