Scammers may contact you pretending to be your bank, a retailer, or a buyer online and ask you to "read back" the code that was just sent to your phone.

Don't do it. That code is designed to protect your account. Sharing it could give criminals access to your online banking, email, or other accounts.

First National Bank will never ask you to provide your one-time security codes over the phone, by text, or by email.
