Very sad to report that Dolly Parton, one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER, has just passed away. This is a true loss for millions of people. There has never been anyone like her, and never will. In her honor, I am lowering the American flag throughout the United States for a one week period beginning tonight at 6:00PM. Depot Days week is coming up, and we need students, community members, clubs, organizations, and anyone who loves Hartselle to help us bring these events to life! ❤️

Volunteer opportunities are available for:

🏃 Rails to Recovery 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run — Saturday, September 12
🏛️ Landmarks & Legends — Tuesday, September 15
🎯 Depot Days Co****le Tournament — Saturday, September 19
🚂 Depot Days Festival — Saturday, September 19

There are opportunities for everything from course monitors and registration to tour support, hospitality, parking, kids activities, vendor assistance, and more!

✨ Volunteer sign-up links are coming soon! In the meantime, you can message the Downtown Business League page and we’ll help secure your volunteer spot.

We encourage you to reach out early so you have the best chance of getting the event, time, and volunteer assignment you’d like!
