What do you get when you combine a passion for problem-solving, a knack for negotiation, a team-first mindset, and a career where no two days are ever the same? You get Ron Schwoerer, Vice President of Facilities Management at Investors Associated!

For the past 10 years, Ron has played an important role in shaping not only our buildings, but also the team, relationships, and culture that make IA what it is today.

From helping shape IA’s growth through new acquisitions to making sure our facilities are ready for what’s next, Ron has been part of some incredible milestones. Along the way, he earned his Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification, expanded his role to include tenant improvements and acquisition evaluations, and built strong contractor relationships that contribute to IA’s continued success.

But ask Ron what matters most, and his answer says it all: “It’s all about the team.” 🤝
He believes in listening to different perspectives, giving credit where it’s deserved, and building a workplace where people work hard, have fun, and genuinely support one another. It's a philosophy that reflects the culture we’re proud to have built at IA.

When asked to sum up his time at IA in one word, Ron chose “Gratifying.”

🎉 Celebrating 10 years with Rachel Govin!

Today, we’re celebrating a decade of dedication, growth, and leadership from our Chief Operating Officer & Corporate Counsel, Rachel Govin.

When asked what she’s most proud of over the past 10 years, Rachel shared that it’s the amazing and diverse team we’ve built. Every team member has played a role in the success we’ve experienced, and that belief in people has been at the heart of Rachel’s leadership.

Over the years, Rachel’s role has evolved from managing day-to-day responsibilities to empowering others with the resources and support they need to succeed. Today, she gets to focus on leading, strategizing, and helping the team move forward; which she says is incredibly rewarding.

Her advice to those building their own careers? “Be curious and don’t be afraid to pivot.” Your path doesn’t have to be perfectly planned. Sometimes finding your passion takes a few turns, a new industry, or simply being open to what comes next.

Rachel, thank you for 10 years of leadership, curiosity, and commitment to our team. We’re grateful for everything you’ve contributed and excited for all that’s ahead!

🌮🚚 That's a wrap on Food Truck Thursdays for 2026!

Thank you to all of our tenants who joined us throughout the summer. We enjoyed seeing employees step away from their desks, connect with colleagues, and support local food truck vendors each week.

A special thank you to the food trucks that helped make this season such a success. We appreciate everyone who participated and helped create a vibrant community atmosphere across the park.

One of our favorite traditions returned this year as our Wisconsin residential team hosted the annual Dog Swim before the pool was drained for the season. 🐾

Residents and their pups enjoyed an afternoon of swimming, socializing, and celebrating the end of another great summer. Events like these help make our communities feel more like home, and we're grateful to everyone who joined us.
