Friday Fish done right at InCahoots! Their Friday menu was fantastic, and this stop was a great reminder of why Poky and his team have become such a staple in the Genesee Depot area.

InCahoots is the kind of family-owned business people genuinely enjoy supporting — family-friendly, welcoming, great food, and an intentional, well-rounded establishment that clearly cares about the people who walk through the door.

I’m also very thankful for the opportunity Poky gave us to review his business insurance needs and earn his trust. While Farmers ultimately wasn’t able to extend coverage in this particular situation due to a few underwriting factors, that doesn’t change the value of the relationship. Sometimes being a good insurance partner means helping a business owner understand their options, being transparent when something isn’t the right fit, and continuing to be a resource long after the quote is finished.

Sebastian Caravella and the Caravella Farmers Agency have been a strong partner in that process, and I’m grateful to work alongside an agency that believes relationships come first.

Rex and Friends of Depot Park Market are serving up a delicious first-annual Homecoming Dinner on Thursday, October 8 for all 9-12 students!

Dinner starts at 4:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to fuel up before the volleyball game!

Yesterday’s Women in LeadHERship Conference was a powerful reminder that leadership isn’t about fitting a mold—it’s about knowing your value, using your voice, building strong relationships, and helping others grow along the way.

A few things I’m carrying with me: relationships are the foundation, culture is built in the small moments, your perspective matters, and the people in your corner can change the direction of your life and career.

There was something especially meaningful about being in a room full of women who are leading, learning, taking risks, encouraging one another, and making space for the next woman to step forward too.

Lead authentically. Speak up. Champion people. Build your circle. And when your door opens, make sure you’re holding it open for someone else.

Each cookie was individually dipped in chocolate, decorated and packaged, with its own custom fortune featuring our Farmers branding. They were beautiful, professional, completely unique—and SO good.

⚾️ FARMERS LOVES THE BREWERS! ⚾️

A couple weeks ago, Farmers District 50 traded quotes, policies, phones, and computer screens for a little time together at a Milwaukee Brewers game! 💙⚾️

Because building a strong team isn’t only about production numbers and hitting goals. It’s about connection, culture, relationships, and actually enjoying the people you’re working alongside.

The best teams know each other beyond the business. They celebrate together, learn together, challenge each other—and occasionally spend an afternoon cheering on the Brew Crew together.

Days like this remind me that culture isn’t something you talk about. It’s something you intentionally build.

Last week’s BNI Wisconsin Mega-Chapter session was such a great reminder of something I believe strongly⬇️

Business doesn’t have to be built through competition. It can be built through collaboration.

More than 100 professionals, four BNI chapters, different industries, different goals — all in one room looking for ways to connect, refer, support, and help one another grow.

That is the kind of business community I want to be part of. 🩷

I was also proud to attend alongside my Farmers Insurance agent partner, Sebastian Caravella. Watching him continue to grow, build relationships, and expand in the commercial space is exciting — and I’m grateful to work alongside him as we pursue big business insurance goals together.

The best opportunities often come from simply knowing someone, trusting someone, and being willing to make an introduction.
