Today is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. On Sunday morning at 7:55 a.m. the Japanese led a surprise attack on our Naval base in Pearl Harbor killing 2,403 Americans. This led the United States to declare war on Japan the following day thus entering World War II.

Did you know today the last 747 rolled off the line at Boeing? Over 1,540 of these aircraft have been built since 1971. When it first came out it was a leader in technology that the world had never seen, carrying as many as 500 passengers across the oceans. The 747s are no longer being produced because their four engine fuel consumptions are too costly for most airlines.
