On June 11, Nassau proudly welcomed nearly 200 attendees, including more than 150 interns and early-career professionals from organizations across Hartford, for our annual HYPE x Nassau Summer Mixer & Intern Networking Experience.

The event brought together emerging talent from across industries, creating a unique opportunity for interns and young professionals to build connections, exchange ideas, and strengthen Hartford’s next generation of leaders.

A highlight of the evening was Nassau’s annual Intern Podcast, where attendees shared their stories, career aspirations, and goals for the summer internship experience. Hosted by Nassau Reimagine intern Francesca Giordano, the conversation showcased the diverse perspectives and ambitions of young professionals from across the region.

Another exciting highlight was welcoming nearly 10 former CT IFS Actuarial Bootcamp participants back to the event as hired actuarial interns. Seeing these students return as professionals beginning their careers was a meaningful reminder of the long-term impact that early talent development and workforce readiness programs can have on both individuals and our industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event a success. Creating opportunities for meaningful connection, professional growth, and community engagement remains central to Nassau’s commitment to supporting the future workforce.

This week marks the start of Nassau’s 2026 Summer Intern Program, and we are pleased to welcome 41 interns representing colleges and universities from across the country.

Over the next 10 weeks, participants will gain valuable hands-on experience across a variety of professional disciplines through our immersive and engaging program.

The program continues to grow each year, attracting talented students eager to expand their knowledge and develop their skills through meaningful work experiences, company-sponsored events, community engagement initiatives, and volunteer opportunities.
