With the blessing of rains throughout the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma as well as eastern New Mexico the mosquitoes have arrived. On Monday we saw our first confirmed case of West Nile Virus. I would advise vaccination if your horse has not had one in the last 90 days. If your horse is showing signs of this disease please contact your veterinarian.

A seven-year WNBA veteran and one of the league’s most recognizable personalities, Sophie Cunningham shot an impressive 41.9% from three-point range during the 2026 season (23% higher than league average). Known for her competitive edge, confidence and ability to make her presence felt on the court, she's built a reputation that extends well beyond the stat sheet.

It's a name we thought suited one of our yearlings particularly well.

By NCHA Open World Champion and the earner of over $345,000, Metallics MVP, who now has over $1.48 Million in progeny earnings. From cutting to breakaway and tie-down roping, his offspring have proven that his natural cow sense carries through, regardless of the discipline they're competing in.

Out of a Once in a Blu Boon mare, Mor Than Once, who earned nearly $50,000 in the cutting pen during her show career. Her first foal was born in 2024.

Looking to her second dam, Smart Cat Moria, a High Brow Cat mare, the dam to over $1 Million in produce earnings, including Marvelous Maria ($154,201), Iron Butterfly ($121,966 and has already produced over $200,000), and Smart Cat Rey RG ($110,704).

Our Sophie Cunningham may play on a different kind of court in the future, but we think the name fits her just fine.

ZZ EARNS $60K+ IN 3 MONTHS

No incentive money. No bonuses. All earned in the show pen.

Over the last three months, the seven year old stallion has added more than $60,000 to his lifetime earnings, putting together an impressive run of performances across some of the biggest events of the summer and fall.

From The NCHA Summer Spectacular Youth champion in July to Las Vegas, to Idaho, and most recently the Bosque Ranch Brazos Bash, ZigZagg has continued to prove himself in the show pen with both Grant & Sawyer across both the Open and Non Pro divisions!

At the Run for a Million, ZigZagg and Sawyer Setnicka marked a 223 to finish third in the Non Pro Cutting Challenge and added $16,000 to his LTE. Shortly after, he and Grant Setnicka won the Open Way Out West Finals Championship at the Idaho Futurity with a 228 in the finals!

Onto a couple huge weekends at the WES Arena in Blue Ridge, TX where him and Sawyer brought home a pile of money in the Non Pro class! Moving them into the Top 15 in the NCHA World Standings

The momentum then carried into the Brazos Bash, where ZigZagg was the title sponsor of the 7UP. He and Grant Setnicka advanced to the Open 7UP finals and officially qualified for the 2027 Run for a Million with a 222 in the go round! ZigZagg and Sawyer Setnicka then made the Non Pro 7UP finals, finishing seventh, while earning the Reserve Championship in the Limited Non Pro.

Another $17,000 was added to his lifetime earnings at the Brazos Bash, bringing his recent three month total to more than $60,000. At just seven years old, ZigZagg continues to build an impressive record and is showing us exactly why the best may still be ahead.
