•Weekly meetings last for 90 minutes. Members need to arrive on time and stay for the entire meeting. Meetings are held every Wednesday morning from 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM at the South Shore Country Club, 274 South Street, Hingham, MA.
•All participants must represent only their primary occupation.
•During the meeting, all Members present a 45-second statement that describes what products or services
they provide, a project they may be working on, or what would be a good referral for them that other Members can be aware of.
•Every week, one Member will be spotlighted to give a 10-minute presentation to the group about their business. To make the presentation more interesting, many Members bring in props to assist them or prepare a slide show.
•Members are encouraged to set up One-to-One meetings with one or more other Members in order to become more personally and professionally acquainted with each other and their companies. The goal is to help each other find appropriate referrals to help boost business. By learning about and understanding each Member’s business, we can provide sincere testimonials about a fellow Member’s products, services and value.
•To keep track of our business to business financial progress, Members report each week to the group the number of referrals, closed business, and One-to-Ones they have accomplished during the week.
•Attendance is critical. If a Member cannot attend a meeting, it is his or her responsibility to contact a Substitute. Every month, an updated Substitute Call list is emailed to each Member.
•Our fiscal year is between April 1st and March 31st. Annual Dues cover administrative costs.
•South Shore Success has a Leadership Team which includes various Coordinators and Committee Members. New Leadership Team Members are appointed at the beginning of every fiscal year. Everyone has the opportunity to volunteer and get involved in Chapter business a much or as little as they would like.
