Hail Storm....update,frequently asked questions, claims handling information. /badnews

The afternoon of 3/31/2023 We did have some wind and some reported hail damage. I have had reports and spoke to several of my clients and friends from the different locations within our community and depending on where your house is located or where your vehicles were parked, you may have some damage.

Ways to report a claim:
1.) Call into our office M-F 8am-5pm 573-221-3200.
2.) Call 1-800-692-6326 24 hrs per day 7 days a week.
3.) Text the word STORM to 26326 (AMFAM) to be sent a link to file your claim.
4.) You can also report the claim via amfam.com or on your myamfam app.

^^^Time saving tip^^ If you recieve a call from an American Family Adjuster and you are unable to answer the phone and it goes to your voicemail, give them a call back....If in the event you recieve their voicemail...Press 0 and you should be routed to the next available claims handler. This tip will save you some time in regards to playing phone tag. :)

Any questions please feel free to give our office a call at 573-221-3200 of feel free to stop on by. We were experiencing a good amount of calls/emails yesterday evening and we reached back out in the order that they were received. If you do call our office this week and you reach our voicemail, I promise that your call will get returned promptly.

Good news/bad news
Whether you have damage to your home or if your vehicle is a little dented like mine is we will get you taken care of....The other good news is that our area is blessed with a lot of very good body shops and contractors. Some potential bad news is that they are all going to be very busy due to this storm so it may take a little bit to get you fixed back up.

We would like to thank our local community for always being so generous and supporting our coat drive for our friends in need. Just a reminder our coat rack is available on the side of our building at 105 N Maple, Hannibal.
This will be the perfect weekend to clean out your closets. We also have an area to put gloves and scarves etc. “Take one of you need, leave one if you don’t”
