Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Office Environment

Language Requirement: Fluent in Bangla

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Management: Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Communication: Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence in Bangla and English.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, promptly address inquiries, and resolve issues.
Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Scheduling: Coordinate appointments and meetings, maintaining an organized calendar.
Documentation: Use office applications to prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations.

Required Skills:

WHY THE HAMTRAMCK/DETROIT AREA IS THE BETTER LOCATION FOR THE BANGLADESH EMBASSY
The Hamtramck/Detroit area, the heart of the Bangladeshi community in Michigan, is home to more than 30,000 Bangladeshi Americans, over half of the total Bangladeshi population in Michigan. Many of them face various challenges and difficulties. By relocating the embassy's community service and events to this area, the embassy can significantly benefit them by providing essential services and support, such as passport renewal, visa processing, attestation, and consular assistance. The embassy can also celebrate their culture, identity, and achievements and foster a sense of community and belonging, making a significant positive impact.
We strongly believe that the Hamtramck/Detroit area, with its largest and most needy Bangladeshi community in Michigan, is a more suitable and convenient location for the embassy's community service and events than Warren. This area deserves more attention and support from the embassy. The embassy's community service and events in the Hamtramck/Detroit area will have a positive and lasting impact on the lives and well-being of the Bangladeshi residents in this area and enhance the image and reputation of the embassy and Bangladesh in Michigan.
We respectfully request the embassy to reconsider its decision and change the location of its community service and events from Warren to the Hamtramck/Detroit area.
