Kristen Oldham has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Risk Management & Information Security, and Danielle Rhodes has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Administrator.

If you pay with cash, here's what changes:
👇 Ends in 1 or 2 cents = rounds DOWN
👆 Ends in 3 or 4 cents = rounds UP
💳 Card payments = no change at all

☀️ It’s a perfect day for Hampstead Day!

Our team is out on Main Street today for the 52nd Annual Hampstead Day, one of our favorite community traditions of the year. From food trucks and live music to local vendors and kids activities, it’s such a fun day to celebrate this amazing community.

Stop by our booth to spin the wheel, grab a piggy bank or baseball, and say hi to the team! We’ve loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new neighbors, and of course getting visits from lots of adorable dogs today too 🐶💚

That’s why Farmers & Merchants Bank is proud to support the Carroll County Realtors Community Outreach Canned Fruit & Cereal Drive through Friday, June 12.

Donation boxes are available at our Westminster, Eldersburg, Hampstead and Reisterstown locations.

Most needed items include:
• Canned fruit
• Cereal
• Oatmeal packets
• Granola bars & breakfast bars
• Applesauce & fruit cups

At Farmers & Merchants Bank, Casual for a Cause gives our team the chance to swap business attire for denim while supporting organizations making a real difference in the communities we call home.

For our April Casual for a Cause Community Spotlight, our team raised $750 for Pathfinders for Autism 💚

Pathfinders for Autism provides resources, support, and guidance to individuals and families navigating autism across Maryland. We’re honored to support an organization doing such meaningful work for so many families in our community.

A huge thank you to our employees for showing up, giving back, and helping make an impact beyond the walls of our branches and offices.

This week, we celebrated a legend.

John Wasowicz, after 43 years in banking, has officially retired.

John spent the last four of those years with us at Farmers & Merchants Bank, and we are so grateful for every one of them. He was instrumental in building and strengthening our C&I lending team, but his impact goes far beyond any org chart. Over the course of his career, he touched the lives of countless individuals, families, and businesses across our community. The kind of trust he built with people doesn’t show up in a spreadsheet, but it’s the very thing community banking is built on.

He also happened to have the best wardrobe in the building. Every. Single. Day.

A special thank you to Farmacy Brewing, who so graciously hosted John’s farewell gathering. There’s something fitting about celebrating a community banker surrounded by another great local business.

John, on behalf of our entire team and Board of Directors, thank you for your dedication, your integrity, and the standard you set for all of us.

To John and Diane, wishing you happiness, health, and all the time in the world together. You’ve more than earned it.
