Ravalli County Federal Credit Union “Creating beneficial, life-long financial relationships for our members and community.”

In 1957, Ravalli County Credit Union was known as Ravalli County Federal Employees Credit Union Association. It was a state-chartered credit union with membership restricted to employees of the Rocky Mountain Lab and the Forest Service. Over the years additional groups were allowed to join the credit union, including all county and city employees, certain school districts, and employees of local b

usinesses. In 1969, the credit union became federally chartered and the name changed to Ravalli County Federal Employees Federal Credit Union. In 1974, the name was again changed to the current name of Ravalli County Federal Credit Union. A community charter was obtained in 2002 and expanded membership to include any person who lives, works, worships or recreates in Ravalli County and their family members. In 2019, Ravalli County Credit Union grew into its second branch located in Florence, MT.

Exciting news! Our modular unit was delivered to Hamilton this weekend. As the construction crew continues setting it up, drive-thru access will be limited.

During this phase of the project, only Lane One will be open. Please note that access may be a bit awkward for larger vehicles.

Our lobby remains open for walk-in transactions, and our ATM has not been impacted. For your convenience, if you prefer not to come into the lobby, our ATM accepts both cash and check deposits. Thank you for your patience as we work through this exciting stage of the project.

Exciting things are on the horizon for our Hamilton branch! 🚧 We are partnering with to complete a major remodel designed to better serve our members and our community.

The project will bring a refreshed, modern look to the branch while adding more natural light, additional office space, updated interior and exterior finishes, an improved teller line and drive-thru, a new boardroom, and solar panels to increase energy efficiency.

The remodel will be completed in phases, allowing us to remain open throughout construction. While there may be limited access to certain areas during different stages of the project, our team will continue to be here to serve you every step of the way.

Construction is anticipated to begin in Fall 2026, with completion expected by Winter 2027. We can't wait to share the transformation with you and appreciate your patience as we invest in an even better banking experience for our members!

For some members, Ravalli County Credit Union has been part of life's biggest milestones from the very beginning. Meet Juli M.! She's been a member since she was just two years old, bringing in the money she earned after losing her first two front teeth. Years later, she's still a proud member, a testament to the lifelong relationships that make credit unions so special.
