Clients and friends, I am a member of the Friends Of Lapeer County Animal Control. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Right now the shelter is in desperate need of additional funding to care for a large influx of sick cats. 
‼️ SOS - monetary donations needed ‼️
Lapeer County Animal Control recently reached out to us indicating that they’ve received a large influx of very sick cats. No further details can be released at this time as the cats’ origin point is pending investigation.
The issue at hand is these cats have various illnesses and chronic upper respiratory infections that need proper veterinary care, including medication, surgeries and ongoing monitoring & veterinary visits.
The cost that is associated with this volume of care is astronomical, and not something that the shelter’s medical budget can support.
Please help us help the shelter provide these cats with the care they so desperately need. This is one of those situations that requires all hands on deck for a positive outcome.
Friends of Lapeer County Animal control is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible and paid out directly from our account to the veterinarians involved or to purchase necessary supplies in cases like this.
