The British are coming!

Once again, the Redcoats will invade Haddonfield and be challenged by Continental troops, just as they did in June 1778. Rides will be from 9-11 am and 12-1 pm. and cost $10 per ride.

When planning for retirement, especially at a young age, it's important to factor in inflation.

To account for inflation in retirement planning, use inflation-adjusted projections with higher rates (e.g., 3-4%), invest in growth assets like stocks and real estate, diversify income, delay Social Security for higher benefits, and build flexible budgets to adjust spending. While there are a multitude of ways to prepare yourself for retirement and all of the factors that come along with it, our trusted advisors at Haddonfield Financial Planning are here to help you consider them all.

You can start collecting Social Security retirement benefits as early as age 62, but your benefit will be reduced if you claim before your full retirement age. You’ll receive your full benefit once you reach full retirement age, which varies based on your birth year (generally between 66 and 67). If you delay benefits beyond that point, your monthly payment increases each year until age 70, when the increases stop.

New contribution rules are coming for 401K savers in 2026. If you’re 50+ and earn over the income threshold, your catch-up contributions may need to go into a Roth 401(k) instead of a traditional pre-tax account.

What does that mean?
• Potential for tax-free withdrawals later
• A shift in how higher earners plan for retirement savings

Contribution limits are also increasing from 2025 to 2026, making it even more important to understand how these updates could impact your long-term strategy. Retirement rules evolve, and your plan should too. Let our trusted advisors at HFP help you guide the way.
