A small claim might not feel like a big deal in the moment, but it can follow you longer than you expect.

Refrigerated food coverage is a perfect example. Filing a claim for a few hundred dollars in spoiled food could end up affecting your insurance record and your options when it’s time to shop for coverage again.

Before filing a smaller claim, it may be worth asking whether the payout is really worth having the claim on your record.

A small dent does not always mean you need to file an insurance claim right away.

Before filing, get an estimate from a body shop or dent repair company and compare the repair cost to your deductible. In some cases, paying for a minor repair yourself may make more sense.

When another person or vehicle is involved, make sure you exchange information and document the damage. Then give your agent a call before deciding what to do next.

Meet Kylie Graham, Foundation’s Creative Director!

Kylie is an Oklahoma State graduate who helps keep Foundation looking good, sounding good, and occasionally functioning through whatever random task gets thrown her way. She handles our social media, graphic design, and plenty of the creative work happening behind the scenes.

Kylie technically has a desk, but you’re much more likely to find her working from her favorite spot in the office, the couch up front.

We’re excited to have Kylie bringing her creativity, personality, and ideas to Foundation. Help us welcome her to the team!
