❤️ Robert & Debbie Jordan – A Closing That Felt Extra Special

I absolutely LOVE this couple. And there is no greater compliment than repeat clients!

Robert and Debbie were buying their new condo at Phoenix Orange Beach, and we started working on everything while I was in New York for treatment. Throughout the whole process, they were constantly checking on me, asking how I was doing, and just being genuinely kind and caring.

Sometimes clients become a little more than clients, and these two definitely did. ❤️

They were selling their Bluewater condo and moving into their next Orange Beach property, and I was so happy we got to be part of the journey.

This one was about so much more than just buying a second home.

Scottie and Dana found a house on Dolphin Avenue in Gulf Shores, just a few doors down from their daughter and son-in-law, Gracie and Seth. Dana wanted to be close enough to help when Gracie needs her, while still giving everyone their own space. ❤️

After a lot of back and forth, this one finally came together, and I was SO happy to see it make it to the closing table!

Carole and Jerry are trading Texas for the Alabama Gulf Coast and making Gulf Shores their new home! They had a lot of moving pieces with selling their home in Texas while getting ready for their move here, but we got it all lined up and made it happen. A little kiss for the sweetest secret… 💕

Grandbaby #2 is on the way, and our whole family is already so in love with this tiny little miracle.

Watching Livy become a mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. She is patient, loving, silly, protective, and somehow makes motherhood look beautiful even on the messy, tired days. Eloise has the best mama—and I just know she is going to be the very best big sister.

And me? I get to be Minnie x2! My heart is about to be walking around outside of my body in two tiny little people, and I truly cannot wait.

Baby, you are already loved beyond measure. 🤍

Here are two more closings from the Barr Group crew! 🎉 One longtime repeat family making a move, and one sweet rescue file that turned into a happy ending. 🏡🔑

Suzan & Terry Morris — Semmes
Suzan and Terry are longtime Barr Group customers and have trusted us with several moves over the years, which always makes a closing like this extra special.
This time, they were ready to downsize and found the right home in Semmes. They worked again with Sarita Tanner with Goode Realty, and we were so happy to help them through another chapter.

This one was a true rescue story. 💙
Kristi and her husband had already been through the process with another lender and were told no. They found a cute home on Hogan Court in Gulf Shores, and we were able to step in, restructure things, and help get them to the closing table.
These are some of my favorite files because there is nothing better than helping a family who thought the door had closed realize there may still be another way.

No doctor appointments today, so naturally I used my free morning for something very important… ICE. 😂🧊
If you’re from the South, you understand. Ice is not optional. It is a lifestyle. And when you’re living in a tiny one-bedroom apartment in NYC with a freezer the size of a shoebox, you have to get creative.
So I got up, stretched my legs, and got to work on the ice situation. Small trays, little batches, repeat all day… this is how we do it. 😂
NYC apartment living has taught me many things, but apparently the most important is how badly I need a commercial ice machine in my life. 🧊🤣

Greg Castro — Wind Drift

Greg came to us from Colorado and just closed on Wind Drift 611N in Orange Beach!
This one was especially fun because the sellers, Mark and Angie White, are longtime friends of Mos. Angie also handled the transaction through Moe’s Realty, so there were familiar faces all around this one.

Greg found a great place in one of our favorite beach towns, and we loved getting to help him make it official.

Congrats, Greg! Welcome to Orange Beach life. 🌴🏖️

Ian — Foley

Ian found a great property in Foley and officially got the keys! 🏡
This was one of those smooth closings where everyone stayed on the same page and kept things moving.

Closings with the team while working remote are still fun! I love my job and that I can do it from afar!!!

1) Travis Madden / Phoenix VI
Repeat clients just hit different. 💙

Travis just sold his Sea Oats condo, rolled those proceeds into a 1031 exchange, and now he’s making his next move with Phoenix VI, Unit 415.

This one has a few extra moving parts — condo review, 1031 exchange, additional cash down — but Travis is the kind of client who makes the whole process easy. He’s quick to respond, organized, and just genuinely great to work with.

We love getting to help our clients again and again as their real estate story keeps growing.

Julieanne has been with Albertsons for years and works remotely, so having a true home base with extra room just makes sense.

This one is an FHA primary residence purchase, and it moved flawlessly through inspections and all the fun little details that come with buying a new home.

I’m a little behind on posting from Eloise’s birthday… and the reel is still a work in progress. 😂 But I couldn’t wait any longer to share my favorite picture from her big day.
I cannot believe our little girl is already TWO. 🥹💗
Eloise absolutely loves when we sing “Happy Birthday” to her, and this picture caught that exact little moment of pure happiness. That face. That smile. That joy. I could look at it forever.
Happy 2nd birthday to Minnie’s girl. You make every single day more fun, more chaotic, and a whole lot sweeter. 🎂💕

There are some closings that are extra special because the people behind them have been part of your life for years… and BOTH of these fall right into that category. I’ve known these families for about 20 years, watched kids grow up, helped siblings, and now here we are doing mortgages together. Full-circle moments are the best. 🥹🏡

🏠 William & Suzanna Duke
The Dukes are building a brand-new home, and I could not be happier for them! They are working with Benchmark, with Melanie Diebold helping them through the building process.
And let me tell you… Suzanna may not be on the loan, but she is absolutely the CEO of getting-all-the-things-done. 😂 She has been on top of every detail!
I’ve known the Duke family for 20 years, I’ve done a loan for William’s sister, and I just love ALL the Dukes. Getting to help William and Suzanna with this next chapter makes this one extra sweet. ❤️

🏡 Andy Michaelis
This one is another true full-circle closing. Andy is purchasing his parents’ home from his siblings, and we were able to put together a plan using the equity he already owns in the property to make it all work.
I’ve known Andy for about 20 years too. His kids grew up alongside mine, so helping him with something this meaningful feels a little different than just “another mortgage.”
Sometimes a closing is about numbers, appraisals and paperwork…but sometimes it is really about family, history, and home. ❤️

These two are definitely BIG LOVE closings for me. Congratulations to the Dukes and Andy — I am so thankful I got to be part of both of these stories! 🐺🏡
