Welcome to the world Baby Jonah McPherson Brown!!!

My niece Anna and her husband Brett officially added another sweet little boy to our growing crew, and let me tell you… this baby was COMFY in there. 🤣 We were all starting to think he planned to stay forever. But once Jonah decided he was READY… HE WAS READY.

Water broke at 8.
Hospital by 9.
Baby Jonah arrived at 11.

Sir said, “Let’s do this.” 😂

8.5 pounds, 21 inches, and absolute perfection. I just LOVE watching our family grow. There is something so special about seeing the next generation of cousins, babies, chaos, love, and future family vacations all coming together.

Welcome to the family sweet Jonah… your Grand Aunt Minnie already adores you! 💙

These two are not just repeat clients… they are “we feel like part of the family” clients. We have been lucky enough to help Seth and Jackie through the years and through multiple homes, and this Foley purchase near the Bon Secour River was another sweet chapter. Their first contract didn’t work out, but they regrouped, found another home on the same street, and kept moving forward. Huge shoutout to Clarke Bear Armstrong with RE/MAX Orange Beach for once again helping them find the right fit, and to Colton Crabtree with Signature Properties on the listing side. We love getting to walk through life with families like this.

Heather and Kerry are newer to the BGM family, but they are quickly becoming fast friends. This was already our second deal together, and we are so thankful they came back for more. They were purchasing a Seacrest condo in Gulf Shores, and when the first unit didn’t work out, they didn’t miss a beat. Same building, new unit, same dream. Huge shoutout to Dana Hammele with RE/MAX by the Bay for sticking with her buyers every step of the way and helping them pivot quickly when things changed. Also big thanks to Lindsay Demers with Dalton Wade Real Estate Group on the listing side of the new unit. This is exactly why having experienced agents matters — when one door closes, they help you find another one with an even better view. 🌊

Deals don’t always go in a straight line. Sometimes they take a little detour, circle the block, and land exactly where they were supposed to. Congrats to both of these wonderful families, and thank you for trusting BGM again. 💙

Could I be a more proud mom right now?? I truly don’t think so. 🥹

Jeffrey just started this week as the newest summer intern at Barr Group Mortgage and he is already picking things up SO fast. Looking at rate sheets, figuring out ways to use AI to make our processes smoother, asking smart questions left and right… I mean, I knew he was smart, but DANG. 😅

That mortgage shoe just might fit him perfectly. 👞🏡

Here’s to an awesome summer with our “almost Auburn grad” (December can’t get here fast enough! 🦅). Will he come back to the mortgage business after graduation? We shall see… but for now, this mama is just soaking it all in and cheering him on every step of the way. ❤️

Vegas can be a lot. 🎰😅

The lights… the noise… the excitement… the constant chaos.
So we finally stepped away from it all for a little poolside break. ☀️

And honestly? That’s exactly how the mortgage process should feel when you choose the right team.
Not stressful.
Not confusing.
Not like you’re constantly waiting for bad news.

Livy and Jeffrey, watching you grow into the people you are today has been the greatest privilege of my life. ❤️

Kind, funny, hardworking, smart, loving… y’all turned out pretty darn awesome. Which makes me think maybe I did a pretty good job as your mom after all. 🥹

Being your mom will always be my favorite title. Watching the way you both love people, show up for family, work hard, and make everyone around you feel cared for makes me proud in ways I can’t even explain.

If these two are the final result… I’d say my life’s work turned out pretty well. 💕

Happy Mother’s Day from Minnie… to all the moms, grandmas, and everyone out there loving their people with their whole heart. 🌸

Small business shout out to the BEST… ✨

Not only do I just LOVE Isla Wine and the amazing duo of Robin and Sara… but if you are a wine lover, you NEED to know about them. 🍷

Listen… I am not even a wine drinker… and they are STILL our GO TO for every party we host. That should tell you something right there. 😂 Robin has forgotten more about wine than most people will ever know. She is incredible at helping people find the perfect bottle, pairing, or gift.

BUT can we also talk about the FOOD?! Because this candy-and-snacks kind of girl is OBSESSED. The soup? INSANE. The ham baguette? Out of this world. They have so many amazing lunch options that it’s honestly dangerous for me to walk in hungry. 🤣
So don’t just think of Isla as your wine stop… go grab lunch, hang out, and enjoy the vibe. You might even catch a Mahjong game happening in there if you’re lucky. 🀄️

And can we talk about all the FUN events they have going on?! They aren’t just a wine store… they have paint classes, wine tastings, live music, pizza nights, specials, parties and so much more. There is ALWAYS something fun happening over there!

Big shout out to Isla for being AWESOME and for always taking such good care of everyone in our community! ❤️

It all started about 11 years ago when I hired this kid named Joe… and I do mean KID. 😂
One day someone at a title company asked if he was my son. Y’all… Joe is 11 years younger than me. So either I was looking REAL rough for my age… or he was shopping in the baby section. 🤷‍♀️

Fast forward a few years… we’re at a mortgage convention riding the elevator with Joe, his wife, and their brand new baby girl. The man in the elevator looks right at me and says… “Awwww, is Nanna with y’all?”
NANNA. ☠️

I started Korean skincare immediately after that trip. LOL.

Now these days, Mo and Joe don’t even call me Helga anymore. It’s “Ma!” “Mom!” “Mamma!” echoing down the hallway all day long. If you walk by my office, chances are you’ll hear somebody hollering for me like I’m running a daycare instead of a mortgage company. 😂

Truthfully though… I’m really proud to be the mortgage mom of these two. Watching our Wolf Pack grow over the years has been one of the best parts of this business. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the moms out there…

🏡✨ Two very different closings… but both ended with happy homeowners and a lot of teamwork along the way! 🐺💗

It was such a fun full-circle moment helping her daughter Maggie purchase her new home in Archer, Florida as she starts this exciting next chapter training horses outside of Gainesville. Watching families help the next generation take that big step into homeownership never gets old. 💗
Closings like these remind us that every loan has a story… and we are so thankful to be a small part of it. 🏡🐺

POV: your mortgage broker goes to Korea and somehow turns skincare research into “work related.” 😂💅

Y’all know I LOVE giving Korean skincare as closing gifts… because after surviving underwriting, appraisals, conditions, and approximately 47 requests for updated bank statements… we deserve a little self care. 🤣

While I was in Korea, I did one of those high-tech skin scans to see what my face actually needed. Apparently my pores and I needed a serious team meeting. 😅

But honestly… I love testing this stuff out before I share it with my clients and agents. It’s become such a fun little part of the mortgage process around here… closing loans and comparing serums. LOL

Now the real question…
Does this officially make my Korea trip tax deductible? Asking for a friend. 😂✈️🧴

Vegas never sleeps… and honestly, neither do we. 🎰🌃

A few weeks ago we were in Las Vegas celebrating Jeff’s 50th — walking the Strip, eating amazing food, seeing shows at the Sphere… and yes, still answering calls along the way.

Because let’s be honest… one weekend trip equals at least a month of content around here 😂
