A lot of business owners hear “workers’ comp” and immediately think:
“That’s expensive.”
“I probably don’t need it.”
“My employees are covered under something else.”

But workers’ comp is one of the most misunderstood parts of insurance.

And honestly? Most people were never taught how it actually works.

That’s why I’m doing this series. Not to pressure anyone into buying a policy, but to help business owners understand their options, protect their employees, and avoid expensive surprises later.

Insurance is complicated enough.
It should at least be explained clearly.

A lot of small business owners avoid workers’ comp because they assume it’s too expensive.

But most people have never actually had someone explain what a workers’ comp policy does.

It’s not just coverage for an injury on the job.

Depending on the situation, it can help cover:

✔️ Disability protection
✔️ Life insurance benefits for your family

That’s why I enjoy having these conversations. My goal is never to pressure anyone. I simply want business owners to understand their options and make informed decisions for themselves and their families.

You know what shouldn’t feel impossible?
Getting your insurance agent on the phone.

I have been in the insurance world for 30+ years, and one thing I refuse to become is “press 1 for this… press 7 and leave a voicemail.” 😅

When people have questions about coverage, claims, price increases, or what their policy actually means… they want a real person.
Not a phone maze.

That’s why I’ve built my business around being available, answering the phone, and actually helping people understand what they’re paying for.

Because good insurance is important.
But having an agent who actually calls you back? That matters too.

Needed a few signatures… so I met him right at the job site.

That’s just how I’ve always done business.
If you can’t come to me, I’ll come to you.

And while we’re there, we’ll make sure everything actually makes sense.
