Hot take from an insurance agent: there is no such thing as a “best” auto insurance company for everyone.

I see people online constantly saying things like “Progressive is the cheapest” or “Progressive is the ripping me off,” and honestly… both can be true depending on the person.

What might be a fantastic fit for one driver, could be a horrible fit for another. Insurance pricing depends on things like driving history, claims, credit, vehicles, household drivers, location, prior insurance, and more.

That’s why working with an actual licensed agent matters. Buying insurance is not like ordering paper towels on Amazon. Coverage differences matter. Company fit matters. Claims handling matters.

One of the biggest reasons I’m excited about my recent agency move is because I finally have access to more competitive carrier options for my clients, (instead of the 2 I had before) — including Progressive (and many others.) I also have another major national carrier coming soon.

The difference between having only a couple workable options vs. having real market access is HUGE. I can actually shop properly now instead of trying to force everyone into the same boxes.

Also… being at an agency that invests in technology and client experience makes a massive difference too. Things that should be easy for clients SHOULD be easy. Going from an agency with no technology or growth for 4 years to one that is the exact opposite has been life changing for me and for what I can do for my clients now.

I’m doing my very best to keep up - an overwheming amount of previous clients have reached out to me ready to switch over with me to my new agency.
If I haven’t gotten back with you yet, I’m dealing with the nearest upcoming renewals first and then moving down the list. I am working overtime every single day and you will hear from me soon.

Big news! 🎉

Carly Copus Insurance Solutions, LLC is now fully active!

I’m SO excited to officially share that I’ve started with Grosse Pointe Insurance Services, under the umbrella of Roscommon Insurance Group! This is a well established group with a fantastic group of people to support me.

This is a huge step forward—not just for me, but for my clients. I now have access to *many more carriers*, which means I can truly shop and customize coverage to find the **best carrier for the best value** for each individual situation. Pair that with significantly better technology, processes and much stronger support behind me, and I’m able to provide an even higher level of service than ever before.

This move allows me to do what I’ve always wanted to do—take great care of my clients, while making sure they have the best possible options available to them. Starting over is scary! But, I am really confident that I have made the best decision for both myself, and more importantly my clients.

To my previous clients—I’ve already reached out and connected with many of you, and I’ll continue reaching out as your renewals approach. I would absolutely love to continue working with you and show you just how much more I can offer in this next chapter.
