In support of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Deed to Grosse Ile, and in recognition of Island Nights "Red, White & You" theme, Preferred Insurance Agency is proud to honor the rich history of our community.
To celebrate this milestone, we selected a local Grosse Ile student to create a series of paintings which illustrate memorable moments from various decades of the Island's history, as well as capture the spirit and traditions that have made Grosse Ile such a special place to call home.
The artist, Taylor Johnson, pictured here, will be a freshman at Grosse Ile High School this fall. We are honored to support emerging local talent while celebrating 250 years of Grosse Ile's remarkable history and are pleased to share his work with our community.
We hope you will stop by 7706 Macomb to enjoy this unique perspective, as well as pick up a complimentary cup cooler commemorating Grosse Ile’s 250th!

Throwback Thursday. We had the pleasure of having retired Detroit Lions quarterback Erik Hipple and his wife Shelly in last year. What a great couple! Erik was awesome, he talked about his career in the NFL and his current career as a mental health advocate/speaker. It was great getting to meet them both!
