This meteorology business isn't for the faint of heart! 😂 We have decided to chance the weather. Will we get wet? It's possible, but we encourage you to dress accordingly, bring proper rain gear, and join us downtown as we celebrate community pride, unity and excitement! Parade lineup will begin at 4:45 and the parade at 5:30 PM. Due to safety concerns for our student athletes, the pep rally and coronation planned for tonight will instead be held in conjunction with Grinnell High School's pep assembly beginning at 2 PM Friday. Follow along live with Grinnell High School - GNCSD tomorrow afternoon.

Tiger Scholarship Fund's Dogs for Dollars and the Grinnell PTO's Build-A-Tiger fundraiser will still take place in Central Park following the parade.

The 2026 Homecoming Parade is sponsored by Grinnell Mutual, Jensen Mechanical, MCG - Mahaska Communication Group, Oakland Acres Golf Club, Grinnell College, QuickVisit Urgent Care and Windsor Manor in Grinnell.
