Congratulations to those who received an award during this year's Annual Convention award ceremony! These individuals were recognized for their outstanding service and dedication to the association, their community, and the independent insurance industry!

Ash Smith of Legacy Risk Solutions, LLC received the Past President's Award. He was recognized for his unrelenting service to the association.

Kevin Panter of Kevin Panter Insurance received the Edgar Dunlap Award. He was recognized for his outstanding contributions within his community.

Pete Deyo of Summit Consulting received the Ted Carleton Award. He was recognized for displaying the highest attributes necessary in the vital partnership between agents and companies.

Georgia Insurance Commissioner John King of Georgia Department of Insurance received the Hagler-Haas Award. He was recognized for the proactive role he has played in improving the industry for all.

Abigail Whorton of The Whorton Agency, Inc. received the honor of Young Agent of The Year. She was recognized for her outstanding service to the Young Agent Committee and her involvement in the community.

Taylor Carnley of Stallings Insurance Agency received the honor of Agency Staff Person of The Year. She was recognized for her significant positive impact and leadership within her agency.

Additionally, Presidential Commendations were given to those who have made a significant impact on the association by serving the association above and beyond their position.

Will Wilson Jr. of Oakbridge Insurance received the honor of Presidential Commendation for his outstanding dedication to the association and willingness to serve.

Cassandra Jones of Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia received the honor of Presidential Commendation for her hard work and dedication to strengthening the association's member events.

Sean Stewart of Turner & Associates Insurance received the honor of Presidential Commendation for his long standing dedication and relentless advocacy for the independent insurance industry.

Our association and our industry would not be what it is without the contributions made by individuals like those honored at our award ceremony.
