Belle Chasse Residents:
Please be cautious & shop your Homeowners thoroughly when replacing your UPC Policy. Currently, there’s 3 markets available other La Citizens that may fit your home depending on year built, roof age, etc. We have had multiple calls from clients with agents trying to just throw them into La Citizens but depending on property specifics, there are better options available. UPC Update:
At this time UPC has filed for receivership however their 30 day final completion date has not been set yet. As soon as we know this date or receive any new information, we will inform our clients but as of now, any UPC policy renewing prior to May 31 will be receiving their non renewal notice 30 days prior & any policy that renews after May 31 will receive their non renewal notice in late April.

If your a Bowles customer with UPC, we are staying up to date with this situation & can assure you that we will be marketing your account prior to your non renewal. However, whether a Bowles customer or not, we do have markets available to quote depending on your area & property specific information and are happy to assist you.

Our 2022 Christmas Drive was a success! Jefferson parish came to pick up the gifts to deliver to 7 Head-start Schools including 100+ children. In addition to these children, we were also able to provide Christmas for a few Plaquemines Parish families in need. Thank you to all of our friends, customers, and family for making this project possible and for bringing Christmas joy to so many children.

Although the market remains tough, we have a partner carrier reopening in our area. If your home fits the following guidelines, feel free to give us a call:
Minimum Coverage A- $250,000.00
Roof Age- 5 years or newer (validation may be required)

RESIDENTIAL MARKET UPDATE:

As we are all aware, the current insurance market is challenging to say the least. As of today, if you have Lighthouse or Maison you have till 6/30/22 to replace your policy. If you have Southern Fidelity / Capital Preferred you have until 7/15/22 to replace your policy. Although La Citizens and a few brokerage markets may be your only option, we are happy to run those quotes for you. If you currently have an Allied quote from our agency, this must be bound by 6/17/22 as they will no longer be writing new policies after that date. As most are aware, we are extremely limited currently with the lack of Company's quoting in our area, but we are doing our best to offer your best options with the ones that are still available.

After a long 10 days, I’m proud to announce that we are able to get back into our office tomorrow morning. Since Hurricane Ida made landfall on 8/29, we have assisted countless customers with filing claims or whatever they needed in their attempts to get life back to normal. Thank you so much to my phenomenal staff for the hard work & dedication during these difficult times. Our thoughts & prayers go out to not only our customers, but all who have been affected by this devastating storm. Regardless if your our customer or not we will continue to be there for anyone needing help or assistance. Times like this make me proud of where I’m from & look forward to servicing our community for many years to come.
