Since 1952 Owens Insurance Agency has had a presence in the Upstate of South Carolina. Started as a personal lines agency, Don Owens wanted to provide quality service and competitive pricing, for the citizens of Greer, SC. As the agency grew in size and reputation Don’s son Riley joined the agency and began adding business insurance to the mix and so began another growth period for Owens services. Today under the leadership of Chris Crist and Shane Lynn, Owens Insurance Agency continues to change to meet the needs of its customers. While they still have a very local hometown feel, they are licensed in so many states that if the need arose they could write business in nearly every state in the lower 48. Owens provides home, auto, general liability, workers compensation, life insurance, health insurance, and all levels of financial services. Together with their team of insurance professionals Owens Insurance provides comprehensive coverage from a multitude of carriers but still has the main street mentality to treat each customer with respect and personal service.
