For 17 years as a producing MLO I questioned the importance of meetings. You always need to get back in front of your customers and network. This week, like many others, started with a series of meetings covering various topics and initiatives. As a VP and department head, balancing communication and productivity can be challenging, ensuring everyone is informed while keeping projects on track without overwhelming calendars and workloads.

2024 is a Presidential Election year. While a lot of the action and dialogue picks up in the fall, spring is when many states hold their primaries. South Carolina's is June 11th. Make sure you're registered, and get out there and vote!

The Boston Bruins have a chance to make history tonight. No team in the history of North American sports has blown a 3-1 series lead in consecutive years. Not in football (for obvious reasons), baseball, basketball, or hockey, has any team, ever, in the history of all of those leagues blown a 3-1 series leads in consecutive years. I'm about 95% sure we see history tonight.

Today I had the pleasure to attend the Small Business Growth Series event, Leveraging AI for Small Business Success, where Kerry Krause, Digital Marketing Consultant with WSI, shared tips and strategies on how small business owners can leverage AI in their business. As VP of Greenville Federal Credit Union, it was an honor to sponsor such an insightful event and represent our organization within the community. The exposure to different elements of business and community is one of the reasons I love my new role. Let's continue to support small businesses and buy local, bank local!

Yesterday all of our new hires over the last 2+ months went to Harvest Hope Food Bank in Greenville. We packed liquids while other organizations throughout the city packed food, diapers, and so on. It was great to have this bonding experience with new team members while also helping people and families in our area. Greenville Federal Credit Union makes it a point to give back to the community, and I'm proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes volunteering and giving back to the people.

Mortgage Professionals! I hope you're doing well and getting geared up for the holidays. I know this has been a heck of a year for all of us... good news is we're almost to the end.



I'm currently looking into a new Mortgage LOS system for us here at Greenville Federal Credit Union. I've got some demos scheduled and a few more discovery calls to go through. I have a list of service providers but I'm wondering what all of you are on, and what you like (or don't) about your current LOS. I'd love to hear from you!
