It’s with deep sadness that I share the passing of Doris “Nana” Carter on November 16. If you knew her, you know what a light she was. Steady, strong, generous, always cheering everyone on - that was Nana.

She meant so much to me and played a huge role in my life. She was there from the very beginning of J. Carter & Associates, supporting me, encouraging me, and believing in me in ways I’ll never forget. Her wisdom and love helped shape not just the business, but who I am.

Nana leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion that touched so many people. She will be incredibly missed by her family, friends, and everyone blessed enough to know her.

We’re holding her memory close and honoring her with so much love and gratitude.
