It was a pleasure having Hannah Hrankowsky, as our intern this summer. She learned a lot in a short time and was a tremendous aid to the team. She focused on investments from Thrivent’s perspective and our team’s perspective, and met with external mutual fund wholesalers. As she returns to IU Kelley School of Business, we look forward to seeing her future evolve!

South Shore Group facilitated a great Thrivent event last week! It started with a service project with Random Acts of Flowers Indianapolis. Everyone enjoyed arranging flowers! The arrangements were then donated to Demaree Crossing, an assisted living facility in Greenwood. We discussed Five Phases of an IRA and then Mitchell Anderson presented an economic update.

“Aid layering” is a spending strategy that can help you understand which funding sources to prioritize as you pay for college.
