Another license checked off the list! 🎉

I’m excited to share that I am officially licensed in Life & Health insurance! 📚✅

Adding Life & Health to my licenses is another step toward becoming a more well-rounded insurance advisor and, more importantly, being able to have more meaningful conversations with my clients about protecting what matters most.

We spend so much time talking about protecting our homes, businesses, cars, and assets, but what protects the people behind all of it?

Life insurance and health coverage are such important pieces of a complete financial protection plan, and I’m looking forward to continuing to expand my knowledge and be a resource for my clients and their families.

One thing I’ve learned in this industry is that there is always something new to learn. I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep growing, keep learning, and keep finding ways to better serve the people I work with.

🏢 I was reviewing a condominium association's insurance program today and compared their current policy to their bylaws. Surprisingly, I found FIVE areas where the insurance coverage did not align with the association's governing documents.

Many condo associations update bylaws over the years, but their insurance coverage isn't always reviewed to keep pace. This can create unexpected coverage gaps and leave associations exposed when a claim occurs.

Preparing for a proposal meeting with a client for their cyber policy, and this one is a powerful reminder of why cyber coverage matters. 😬

Unfortunately, this client didn’t think they needed a cyber policy… and they’re now in the middle of a $295,000 claim.

I was able to secure them three quotes, one of the many benefits of working with an independent agent! 🙌🏻 But my job doesn’t stop there.

I’m digging into the coverages, exclusions, limits, and overall protection each carrier offers to determine which policy is the best fit for their specific business and, most importantly, helps protect them from the financial impact of another cyber incident.

Cyber claims can happen to businesses of any size. Don’t assume you don’t need coverage until it’s too late.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Director on the IA&B Board! ❤️
