I don’t know if you saw, but last week the 10-year Treasury dropped below 2% and is now hovering around 2.018- which means another mortgage rate drop has followed.
Rates have been falling since April, creating some of the best rate conditions we’ve seen since 2017.
I thought this might be a good time to see if these market conditions can benefit you financially.
When rates drop this steadily, it’s always smart to at least check if one of these scenarios are right for you:
• Refinance into a lower rate/lower monthly payment
• Look at a cash-out refinance if you have positive equity
(remodel that kitchen?)
• Refinance out of Mortgage Insurance which could lower
your monthly payment
• Look at a debt consolidation loan and free yourself of
high-interest credit card debt
• or act now on that new home or investment property
purchase
