During divorce, most people focus on legal agreements and emotional healing. Few realize their financial identity may also be at risk.

Spousal identity theft can happen quietly when personal information that was once shared is used without consent. This can result in damaged credit, unexpected debt, and long-term financial consequences that extend well beyond the divorce.

This article explains what spousal identity theft looks like, why it often goes unnoticed, and how taking action early can help protect your financial future.

🏡 Being single doesn't mean buying a home alone.

Did you know that eligible single women in Colorado may qualify for grants of up to $10,000 through the Shared Power Initiative from Project I See You?

This incredible program helps make homeownership more accessible by providing financial support, education, and resources to women pursuing homeownership on their own.

The Kyte Team is proud to support Project I See You and their mission of empowering women through homeownership. We've been involved with this organization for more than four years and have seen firsthand the impact it can make.

As a matter of fact, we're hosting a fundraiser on June 20 to support Project I See You and help raise funds for programs like Shared Power. If you'd like to attend, support the cause, or learn more, send us a DM and we'll send you the registration link.

Are you a real estate agent, or a business owner?
The answer should be YES to all of the above. It’s not an either/or scenario—you are both.
🌹

Success starts with changing your mindset. And learning how to water your business so it will grow.
Yes, you need to sharpen your skills as an agent, but you also need to actually run a business.

That means tracking your numbers, monitoring profit and loss, delivering top-tier customer service, making executive decisions, and building a team.

This is exactly why I do business coaching.✨

If you’ve been neglecting the “business” side of your career, I have the exact tools you need to get back on track:
    •    Lead and conversion trackers
    •    Daily activity and performance trackers
    •    P&L templates
    •    Wealth trackers & business plans

The best time to start was yesterday; the second best time is today. I’ll be your coach, your toolkit, and your accountability partner.

Let’s commit to our clients and our businesses for the rest of 2026. If you start today, I promise you will see a massive shift by the end of the year. 💪

Call me today to get started!

Most people don't realize a divorce decree can quietly disqualify them from the very mortgage they're counting on.

Support income that hasn't seasoned. An equity buyout structured the wrong way. A settlement that looks fair on paper but falls apart at the closing table.

As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®), this is exactly what I'm trained to catch — and prevent. I work where family law, tax, and mortgage financing intersect, so the plan holds up long after the ink dries.

Education is the strategy. If you're facing a mortgage decision in divorce, let's talk before the terms are final.

One of the things I love about my job is helping people in their 20’s and 30’s buy their first home.
My parents showed me the value of home ownership, as I was growing up, and I have seen firsthand how it helps you build wealth, create stability and new opportunities.

One of the best things you can do is to start when you are young and invest in your future with home ownership.
and just remember, “Time is non-refundable. Use it with intention.”

Don’t let homeownership be the thing that you put on the backburner because you think you have more time....

Have questions? let’s grab a coffee!

✨Weekly Market Update with Kelsi Arrieta✨

✨Treasury yields saw a slight increase after two weeks of decline.

‌✨A flare-up involving Kuwait and Bahrain (the most significant escalation since the April ceasefire) has renewed concerns about oil prices and inflation, which could slow the pace of rate improvement.

✨The labor market may be cooling gradually. April data showed the hiring rate declined while job openings remained steady, pointing to a slower but still stable job market. although, the BLS drops report today came in much stronger than expected.

‌✨This week’s Non-Farm Payroll report is the key labor reading before the June 17 Fed meeting. A softer report could support rate cut expectations, while a stronger report could push yields higher.

✨The Fed is balancing slower economic momentum with persistent inflation, making this week’s data important to its next move. The next Fed meeting is June 17th.

As always, reach out for more information and to know how this impacts you and your clients!

Identity theft is an often-overlooked risk during divorce.

Shared access to financial accounts, tax documents, and online logins doesn’t automatically end when the marriage does. That continued access can quietly damage credit, expose personal data, and create obstacles to future mortgage financing.

Divorce lending isn’t just about qualifying for a loan—it’s about protecting financial stability during a vulnerable transition. As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®), I help identify identity-related risks early so housing decisions are built on safety, clarity, and feasibility.

If you’re navigating divorce or advising divorcing clients, schedule a strategy call to protect credit, identity, and housing options before problems arise.
