I've already said this fall Annual Election Period is going to be chaotic... and this definitely adds to it. This is not the only company that is dropping some Advantage Plans for 2025.
MAKE SURE your read your ANOC (annual notice of change) when it comes in the mail in late Sept. Many people are going to realize they don't remember how to reach their agent if they haven't already been talking to them annually, and others will find their agent is no longer in the insurance biz.
I am already being called by clients that keep up with the news. We can talk about your specific plan after you receive your ANOC, and we can talk with you about other 2025 plans and benefits beginning Oct 1st.
The best advice I can give you NOW is - DO NOT WAIT until late in the AEP to act (ends Dec 7th). Call your agent if you still have one to set a time to meet.
Or call/text/email Me to set a meeting time for October to review the options in your county with all the Advantage Plan companies and plans and all the Rx plans too - major changes coming there as well.
I am in my 11th year specializing in Medicare, and I have never been anywhere even close to having so many appointments already scheduled with existing clients... but I keep in touch with mine and try to keep them educated on things that may affect them. I can help you at this chaotic time as well.
You do not have to freak out over these changes.
There are several SPECIAL RIGHTS any medicare beneficiary has if their Advantage plan is being discontinued and I know them all well. The most IMPORTANT thing you can do is to talk with an agent with years of experience that should know these special rights as well as I do.
