Moving back home is hard on everyone, but don’t make it worse by not adding your kid back to your auto policy! If you don’t notify us of a new driver in the house within 14 days, a $2,500 deductible will apply to any “collision” loss to “your covered auto” that involves the new driver.

Are your parents or in-laws moving in with you? If they are planning on using your car, be sure to add them as a driver to your policy! If a “collision” loss occurs to “your covered auto” and they are involved, a $2,500 deductible will be applied if they are not listed on your policy.

According to DMV.org, Pre-packaged car emergency kits can be a great place to start. But putting your own roadside assistance kit together has some valuable benefits.
1) Tailor it to the weather in your area. Maybe you'll never need an ice scraper, or a battery-powered fan. Add or subtract items from the list that you know you'll need where you're traveling. 2) Include items that suit your family. If you have kids or pets, you can add things like diapers, dehydrated food, dog treats, or a water bowl. 3) Create multiple kits or have back-ups handy. Instead of buying several pre-made kits, you can build multiple car safety kits at once or keep extra supplies on hand if you run out.
