I’ve had the opportunity over the past several months to work with Terren Moore helping him expand his knowledge of commercial agribusiness insurance. Terren owns his own insurance agency in East Texas, MFI Agency, he has a real passion for agriculture and the drive to build something special in this industry.

Terren was in Lubbock meeting with one of his clients and took the time to come see me in person, talk insurance, ask questions, and—as he put it—pick my brain a little. I’m always glad to spend time with someone who wants to learn, especially when they have the motivation and work ethic to put that knowledge to use.

After all my years in the insurance business, I’ve learned that you never stop learning—and you certainly don’t succeed by yourself. Relationships, sharing knowledge, and surrounding yourself with good people still matter.

Terren and I are looking forward to working together on opportunities where we can combine our experience, relationships, and markets to do what matters most: take care of our clients and protect the industries that keep agriculture moving forward.

Great finally meeting you face-to-face, Terren I have a feeling we’re going to have some fun along the way!

And yes… apparently cowboy hats are optional when you come to Lubbock. 😂
