• Bethany Mattingly, KDA Ag Education & Outreach Director — Former Louisville ag teacher with 14 years in ag education who built urban ag programs and helped launch statewide initiatives like All In for Ag Education Week and the School Garden Challenge at the Kentucky State Fair.

• Warren Beeler, Deputy Commissioner, KDA — Raised on a Grayson County dairy farm, longtime KDA leader and national livestock advocate who helped advance Kentucky Proud and agricultural education efforts statewide.

• Keeley Cooper, Agriculture Teacher, Madison Central High School — Lifelong Madison County educator and cattle/horse producer focused on agricultural education and connecting students to real-world ag.

The Kentucky Department of Agriculture: Ag Education and Outreach is partnering with Kentucky Farm Bureau to provide high-quality, agriculture education professional development opportunities for teachers this July! All costs, including lunch, are covered by Kentucky Farm Bureau!

• July 16 – Louisville
• July 22 – Bowling Green
• July 23 – Owensboro

Each workshop will feature:

County President Terry Osborne and Agency Manager Brent Wilson were honored this evening at the Greenup County FFA end-of-year banquet, where they received honorary degrees from the Greenup County FFA Chapter.

These recognitions highlight their unwavering support for agriculture and their continued dedication to the youth of Greenup County.

🍎Farm-Fresh Feature #1🍎
We are proud to recognize Miss Carroll from Greenup Schools, for her outstanding work promoting agriculture during All In for Ag Week! Her students enjoyed a week full of hands-on agricultural learning—listening to read-alouds about farm animals, creating their own farm animals from cardboard, and learning how strawberries and pumpkins are grown🍓🎃. Students even welcomed special visitors to learn about firsthand experiences of agriculturalists in their community. Thank you, Miss Carroll, for caring about the future of agriculture and going above and beyond for your students! 💚🚜

Greenup County Farmer Chair and former Kentucky Farm Bureau State Young Farmer Committee Chair, Justin Imel, along with his family, represented Greenup County at the American Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California.
