The project began with students at Our Lady of Victory School in State College, Pennsylvania, who created the first boxes to honor their classmate Jared, a remarkable little boy who faced cancer with courage and faith. His spirit continues to inspire this mission today.

What began as one thoughtful act has grown into something extraordinary. More than one million Jared Boxes have been delivered to over 600 hospitals, bringing comfort and smiles to children in emergency rooms, hospital rooms, surgical centers, and clinics—often at the moment they need it most.
