It may be the last day of August, but apparently Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that summer is supposed to be winding down!

We did our best to help you beat the heat this summer by celebrating National Bomb Pop Day with free Bomb Pops at the Bucklin City Pool and Greensburg Pool and treating you to FREE ice cream at the Kiowa County Historical Museum and Soda Fountain.
And getting pictures like these sent to us might just be our favorite part! There’s something pretty special about seeing our friends, customers and neighbors out enjoying a little treat on Homestead.
We love finding small ways to give back to the communities that have given so much to us. ❤️🍦

Can someone please tell us where June went?

We surely can’t be the only ones playing catch-up! This stack of birthday and anniversary cards has been patiently waiting on our desk, and while they’re a little later than we planned, they’re still headed out with lots of appreciation.

One of our favorite things is celebrating the people who make Homestead possible. Life gets busy, but we’re so thankful for every family, farm, business, and neighbor who trusts us to protect what matters most.

A full desk is a good problem to have, and we’re feeling incredibly blessed. ❤️📬

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer, it’s a reminder of the sacrifice made by so many to protect the life and liberties we enjoy every day.
