A little Monday humor for you.

I called an insured today because I needed a little inside information on how to celebrate someone close to them. We’re really big on celebrating all of life’s moments with our insureds. We know we’re trusted to show up on some of your worst days, but we absolutely love getting to double down on the good ones, too.

Toward the end of the call, she said, “Hey, I need to tell you something. Back in July, you sent me a birthday card…and it was blank. Nothing written in it. Nothing inside. And I just laughed.” She went on to say, “I knew you had a lot going on then, and I just chalked it up to, ‘This is SO Jennifer.’ Anyone else, it probably would have ticked me off, but I had the best chuckle over it.” I, of course, apologized PROFUSELY while also laughing right along with her.

Life gets busy. Things fall through the cracks. Apparently sometimes birthday cards get signed with invisible ink. 🤦🏽‍♀️ But it was also a good reminder that there’s something pretty special about doing business with people who know you well enough to laugh with you when you mess up.

And maybe the card wasn’t blank after all. Maybe I just couldn’t find enough words to tell her how amazing I think she is. Either way, find something to laugh about today. Life is a whole lot better when we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

And if you ever receive a blank card from Homestead Insurance…just know it was probably sent with LOTS of love. ❤️🇺🇸

A little change of scenery for the office this week! ❤️ I’m working remotely while taking a special trip with my Mom, first to Miss America and now making a few memories together at Disney World! 👑🏰✨

Even though I may be a few states away, Homestead Insurance is still open for business and I’m just a phone call or text away. If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me on my cell phone. I’m happy to help!

Grateful for a job that allows me to take the office with me and enjoy some pretty special moments with my mom along the way. ❤️

It may be the last day of August, but apparently Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that summer is supposed to be winding down!

We did our best to help you beat the heat this summer by celebrating National Bomb Pop Day with free Bomb Pops at the Bucklin City Pool and Greensburg Pool and treating you to FREE ice cream at the Kiowa County Historical Museum and Soda Fountain.
And getting pictures like these sent to us might just be our favorite part! There’s something pretty special about seeing our friends, customers and neighbors out enjoying a little treat on Homestead.
We love finding small ways to give back to the communities that have given so much to us. ❤️🍦

Can someone please tell us where June went?

We surely can’t be the only ones playing catch-up! This stack of birthday and anniversary cards has been patiently waiting on our desk, and while they’re a little later than we planned, they’re still headed out with lots of appreciation.

One of our favorite things is celebrating the people who make Homestead possible. Life gets busy, but we’re so thankful for every family, farm, business, and neighbor who trusts us to protect what matters most.

A full desk is a good problem to have, and we’re feeling incredibly blessed. ❤️📬
