What a great weekend at the NC Folk Festival! 🎶❤️

One of the best parts of being a State Farm agent in downtown Greensboro is getting to be part of events like this in the community we serve.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Good Neighbor Goods tent to say hi! I loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and watching all the creativity happening at the tent. You created a lot of great looking hats, what do you think of mine?

Oops... we missed National Work Like a Dog Day yesterday. 🐶
Then again, if I worked like my dog, I'd spend the day napping, asking for scratches, barking at her friends walking by the house, and taking random zoomie breaks.
On second thought... maybe I'm okay with missing this one. 😂

Growing up in Winter Haven, Florida, I made many great memories, but some of my favorites were the pickup basketball games 🏀 at Lake Elbert Elementary. That's where I met friends, competed in intense five-on-five games—shirts versus skins—and learned lessons that went far beyond basketball. Those games taught teamwork, perseverance, respect, and helped build friendships that have lasted a lifetime.
That's why I'm especially proud to represent State Farm’s Red Net Campaign as we partner with the City of Greensboro to help restore the spirit of play in the communities we serve. Today, we're at Woodlea Acres Park replacing missing and damaged basketball nets so this court can once again become a place where memories are made. 🎊
It may seem like a simple project, but a new net can inspire excitement, encourage kids to get outside, and bring neighbors together. Before long, we'll be hearing that fresh, crisp swoosh as the next Chris Paul, Michael Jordan, or Caitlin Clark takes their shot. More importantly, this court will help create the next generation of friendships, confidence, and life lessons—just like it did for me.
