Let’s be real for a second:
If you got paid for doing something — a skill, a service, or a side hustle — that money counts as income to the IRS.
Once your profit hits $400 or more, you’re generally required to report it on your taxes.
Hair.
Makeup.
Lashes.
Photography.
Babysitting.
Side gigs.
Cash jobs.
If you made it — you need to file it.
And yes… even money earned from things that aren’t exactly “legal” 😎 is still taxable under IRS rules.
If you’re unsure how to handle it, reach out to your tax professional and ask:
“What’s the correct way to report my self-employment income and expenses this year?”
Getting it right now can save you a lot later.
