Triad Insurance Partners has had the privilege of insuring this incredible lady for years. Carolyn was an amazing person. We are praying for her family and friends.

It's personally heartbreaking to share the news that Carolyn Brown, 88, the "queen of Oak Ridge," passed away yesterday in her home, where she lived independently. We're told she passed quickly and quietly, and blessedly had not been seriously ill or suffering prior to her death.

Carolyn meant so much to so many people, and was such an example of how to live one's life - with dignity, graciousness, compassion, laughter, friendship and a kind and generous spirit. I often told her I prayed to age as beautifully as she did, while bringing joy to my family and my community right up until my life ended. Oh, how she did just that, and what a truly "ordinary but extraordinary" person she was (we featured her on p. 5 of our Aug. 5, 2021 issue - read the article here: https://issuu.com/pscommunications/docs/2021-08-05)

We keep Carolyn's daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, extended family members and a community of friends who loved her deeply in our thoughts and on our hearts today and in the days to come.
