DEER SEASON HEADS-UP for my Georgia, Alabama & South Carolina folks: deer season is underway across all three states, and the rut runs October through December — that's when deer-vehicle collisions spike, especially at dawn and dusk. And the time change on Nov 1 puts your evening commute right in the middle of it.

Quick tips:
- Slow down where you see deer crossing signs; if one crosses, expect more behind it
- If a hit is unavoidable, brake — don't swerve. Swerving causes the worst crashes
- Honk if you spot deer ahead

The insurance part: deer damage is covered under comprehensive auto coverage, not collision. Not sure you have it, or your deductible feels high? Now's the time to check — happy to review it with you!!!

WE ARE GETTING A NEW ROOF!!!

Our office will be closed tomorrow, Friday May 8th, while the old roof is torn off and a brand new one put on.

WOO HOO THE LATER DAYS ARE BACK!!!

TIME CHANGE THIS WEEKEND, make sure when you go to bed Saturday night you SPRING FORWARD one hour!!!

Dont be THAT FAMILY that shows up for church at 11am on Sunday morning and it's really already Noon and everyone is leaving!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

AS FAR AS WE KNOW, ICE IS ON IT'S WAY!!!....here are a few things to keep in mind!!
- Stay off the roads. NOTHING gets traction on ice and you have zero control
- Charge all your devices AND backup battery packs for cell phones, tablets and laptops in case you lose power
- Drip your water at all times when it is below freezing

- IF YOU HAVE KIDS, make it fun and make it an adventure....build ALL the blanket forts, let them eat/drink junk, let them stay up late and sleep late, MAKE MEMORIES!!! It's the South, it might last a day or two but the fun you have with your kids and the memories you make will stick with them forever!!!

STAY SAFE, STAY WARM, and we are hoping to be back in the office to assist on Monday BUT I also want it to be safe for my team too, so stay tuned!!!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE of the office hours and keep in mind:
- If you call after hours or on Christmas Day/New Years Day you will be routed to our 24/7 support team
- Other times when 24/7 is not available, leave us a message and we WILL follow up at the earliest possible time the next day we are in office
- Payments and claims can be made online, via the app or with a 24/7 customer service rep

I am so thankful for so many people and things in my life and there are too many to list out individually, but since this is my business page, let me make sure and THANK TWO very important groups of people....MY TEAM and OUR CUSTOMERS!!!

CUSTOMERS - We know you have lots of options out there, and we sincerely appreciate that you CHOOSE US!!!

MY TEAM - Crystal, Elissa, Chasity, Ryan, Mandy, Jackson, Shaw and Terri make up a FANTASTIC team that produces at some of the highest levels BUT ALSO genuinely care about our customers and wants to make sure we do everything possible to look out for and protect as many families as we possibly can. I am so thankful for this team!!!

I am just here to REMIND you that THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, Nov 1st, is the night to FALL BACK and move your clocks BACK 1 hour when you go to bed!!! As frustrating as time changes are to some, the GREAT NEWS is that you can sneak in an extra hour of sleep!!!!

ALSO DONT FORGET to check those smoke alarm batteries and IF you have family/neighbors who can't do it themselves, please check their batteries for them!! Trust me, as a survivor of a house fire, IT MATTERS!!!!
