Fresh Start Community Day is Saturday, May 30.

Bring the whole family to this free community event featuring job opportunities, wellness resources, expungement support, food trucks, music, giveaways, and prize drawings.

The event will be held from 9 am to 1 pm at Triad Christian Center, 4321 Barrow Road, High Point.

Interested in expungement support? Appointments are required. Eligible participants must bring a copy of their court record. Assistance will be available until 4 pm.

Looking for a new career path in construction?

NCDOT’s Highway Construction Trade Academy is offering free training in Guilford County from April 6-17, 2026.

Participants will receive classroom and hands-on learning opportunities, OSHA 10 certification, flagger training, CPR/First Aid certification, and career readiness and job placement support.

Training will be held at NCWorks, 2301 W. Meadowview Rd., Greensboro, NC 27407. Sessions run from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
